On the occasion of the Design Week, Giorgetti's London Store welcomes the proposals of the new collection and presents a special exhibition in collaboration with Pontone Gallery with the format "Giorgetti walks with Art".

With passion and pursuing continuous research and experimentation, Giorgetti continues to shape its living universe through projects that, in an inseparable marriage of beauty and functionality, promote the value of experience by emphasizing the role of design in improving the quality of life.

In a dialogue between craftsmanship and production technology, the proposals of the 2023 collection, staged in the spaces of the London Store on the occasion of the London Design Festival, are the interpreters of this thought, telling in every smallest detail the profound sense of designing according to Giorgetti.
Versatile products, with an elegant and decisive but unmistakable character, never conventional, that stand out for the very high quality of materials, tailor-made workmanship and maniacal research on finishes, shapes, textures and colors.

A landmark event for London's creative scene with a rich program of events, exhibitions and presentations, the London Design festival is also an opportunity for Giorgetti to recount its connection with the art world with the "Giorgetti walks with Art" format. The ability to dialogue with different realities, to open up to new suggestions by following trajectories that are often far from conventional paths, has always been the brand's stylistic hallmark.

In the Fulham Road spaces, the brand thus kicked off its collaboration with Pontone Gallery, which, with its London office, has been representing since 2016 numerous international artists specializing in different disciplines from painting to photography to sculpture.

On stage is a selection of works by contemporary artists such as Reef Hsu, Lee Jungwoon, Raffaele Rossi, Choi Soowhan and Tim Wright that dialogue with the new additions to the 2023 collection.

The result is a conceptual journey in which art and design integrate naturally and spontaneously in the spaces of the Giorgetti monobrand. A showroom developed on two levels, with a total area of 400 square meters, showcasing the products of the Giorgetti collection, including novelties and iconic pieces, to emphasize the design culture typical of the brand and demonstrate the company's ability to offer a true lifestyle.

The space welcomes guests to the living room with its relaxed and comfortable atmosphere thanks to the cozy seating of Carlo Colombo's new Karphi modular sofa, a contemporary system that offers maximum versatility by delineating a dynamic and never repetitive domestic landscape, accompanied by the curved and enveloping forms of the new Hero armchairs and the play ofjoints of the new Woody & Mia collection of small tables and poufs. Framing the area is the new Kukei sideboard by Mauro Lipparini, a timeless piece of furniture that interprets, in its microcosm, a personal dynamic and variable composition, in line with contemporary living, creates a stage with a light but rigorous volume.

The path continues in the kitchen area set up with the GK.03 project. With their sinuous shape, m2telier's new Skirt stools provide a comfortable snack station while showing a full volume on the back that is inspired by the silhouette of a skirt.

Sculptural and monumental, the new G-Code table by Dante O. Benini and Luca Gonzo dominates the space in the center of the Store, surrounded by the new Hero armchairs characterized by a great attention to comfort.

To the right of the entrance, the sleeping area hosts the Frame bed and nightstands designed by Carlo Colombo, whose geometric lines suggest, on the one hand, an extraordinary formal abstraction and, on the other, a strong emotionality in the details, together with the Shirley mirror, also by Colombo, whose concept revolves around a folded metal ribbon that characterizes the collection by becoming a structural element.

Enriching the area is the Edward vanity/writing desk by Dainelli Studio, a proposal under the banner of multifunctionality, accessorized with a mirror and storage compartments for brushes, combs and related objects, presented together with the Montgomery armchair, also designed by Dainelli Studio, which, taking inspiration from classic forms, experiments with a more aggressive, dynamic, contemporary trait.

The home office area, the protagonist of contemporary living, is interpreted with the forms of the Mogul desk, accompanied by the Baron chair.

In the basement, a second living area chooses the contemporary lines of the Soho modular sofa by Carlo Colombo, along with the Griffe tables designed by Giancarlo Bosio and Giorgetti R&D, characterized by a refined play of joints, overlaps, and glossy and matte finishes, and the Montgomery armchairs. On the opposite side, the minimal lines of the Aton sofa, together with the Janet armchairs and the Host bar cabinet, create a relaxation area. Behind the sofa, the seductive interplay of the Borealis screen stands out.
Further proposal for the sleeping area, the Pegaso bed together with the Reiwa modular walk-in closet system.
Outdoor, on the other hand, features the Aldìa outdoor collection designed by Carlo Colombo, a complete system that brings Giorgetti's passion for detail to the outdoors.

Decorative objects from the Atmosphere Collection, including the new En Plein Air picninc set made in collaboration with Pineider, the new Floema plate collection designed by Roberto Cambi, and the new Nastus ceramic vases complete and enrich the space.
The collection of artworks from Galleria Pontone chosen for the exhibition includes "Alaska," "I Saw the Light," "Something Wicked...," and "Not Far Away," a selection of paintings by British artist Tim Wright, who invites the viewer to immerse themselves in the misty atmospheres of his oak wreaths inspired by the sculptures of Grinling Gibbons.
The natural world and the cosmos are the protagonists of Taiwanese Reef Hsu's works with "Root根," "Symbiosis 共生-2" and "Untitled 無題 17."
Raffaele Rossi
recounts his love of textural surfaces with the elegiac "Tanger dans la nuit," while Lee Jung Woong's "Brush" - oil trompe l'oeil on Korean rice paper depicting a paintbrush and ink landscapes - showcases a dynamism and movement that far exceeds a simple two-dimensional image.
Texture, form and substance characterize the work "Emptiness_forest path" by Choi Soowhan, who creates meticulous, immaculate, yet expressive images by drilling holes of various sizes in an LED-backlit laminate sheet. The result is an art based on precision, where Choi masterfully manipulates material and light.
