Giorgetti closes 2021 by renewing his promise of environmental commitment with the #ReForest project
Once again in 2021 Giorgetti renews its commitment to sustainability with a concrete project aimed at improving the quality of urban areas and counteracting climate change.
In line with the objectives defined last year, which led to the drafting and publication of the first corporate Sustainability Report and will lead to the publication of the second, the Giorgetti Group continues on its path of sustainability by presenting a new circular economy project.
In collaboration with Rete Clima, a non-profit organisation that promotes Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and corporate sustainability actions, Giorgetti launches the urban forestation project Giorgetti #ReForest.
Starting from Autumn 2022, the company will plant trees to repopulate the woods in the Meda area. A symbolic and concrete gesture of restitution to the environment and to the territory that has always linked the company to trees, a precious source of quality materials that for 123 years have distinguished the excellence of the brand.
Planting a tree, an apparently simple gesture that instead represents the achievement of important goals. A concrete environmental intervention in the local area, an opportunity for external and internal communication of the objectives of the company's environmental policies, a step towards achieving the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals defined by the United Nations.
