LIFE AT | The narratives of GMagazine #03

We are facing our 125th anniversary in uncertain times, after a pandemic and during a war, with thoughts and observations that are questions to ask ourselves and share—including through GMagazine.
125 years of history: an honour and a responsibility that is renewed in relation to our community, made of concentric circles that, like sound waves, return and amplify vibrations, value and values. We identify with an Italy that’s multi-faceted, never monochrome, cosmopolitan, and admired; the Italy that we’re proud to embody and enhance: at its core, it’s another way to care for it. In the meantime, our Group continues to forge ahead and expand within all time zones, establishing new networks of relationships and opportunities. We are putting ourselves on display with important openings in Milan and New York, places of cross-pollination and research, where design meets knowledge, art, music, material culture and everything that helps distribute the experience of beauty, its positive and generative energy. Like diviners, we seek out signs and meanings, connections, and comprehension. We seek them out in the depositories and forms of iconic memory, in the alphabets of disciplines, on walls that talk, in real and virtual environments, in stories where design, culture and enterprise synthesise innovation on the limits of perfection. Not forgetting the memory of templates and samples kept in the everyday archives of patient, persevering work: they are the master forms that remind us who we are, where we come from, and where we’re going. For us, the awe and wonder of a difficult but exciting journey, a future horizon that we are sure to recognise, awaits.
