The Paris Design Week is back with Giorgetti as key player in the event that will animate the city from 9^th to 18^th September, proposing a concept of living spaces free of conventions. Design quality, manufacturing innovation, timeless elegance and sustainability are the values expressed in the Store on Rue de l'Abbaye, located in the elegant Saint-Germain-des-Prés area.

Crossing the threshold of one of the district's typical late nineteenth-century buildings, Giorgetti's new products confirm their ability to define complete, elegant and functional living concepts in the residential, hotel, restaurant and superyacht sectors. Important furnishing elements such as those designed by the Milanese studio M2Atelier alternate with the décor objects of the Atmosphere 2021 collection, in an extraordinary visual stratification defined by the combination of materials, shapes and details.

The refined sign that has allowed Marco Bonelli and Marijana Radovic, founders of M2Atelier, to be known worldwide, returns to enliven Giorgetti lifestyle with the Elsa armchair, tribute to Elsa Peretti. The light walnut frame and the thin metal tube that hooks the seat become the distinctive feature of this design that plays on the alternation of fullness and emptiness. A monolithic volume characterizes instead the Tie chair, that captures the attention for its details: its silhouette seems to be discreet until it reveals a deep and seductive slit at the back that recalls haute couture creations.

Also on display is the new Ensō table, inspired by the thousand-year-old philosophies of the Far East. While its name means “circle” in Japanese, its round shape, widely used in traditional calligraphy, has a meaning rooted in Zen Buddhism: the concepts of enlightenment, infinity and absolute universe. Among the M2Atelier accessories, the Uyuni mirror refers to the Bolivian lake that gives it its name. The mirror is also available with integrated lighting, equipped with a touch-off switch inserted in the shelf. The shelf of solid walnut interrupts the regular shape of the mirror and can be accessorised with leather storage trays.

Alongside important families of furniture pieces, Giorgetti offers a series of products with refined shapes and materials that are easy to fit into any living context, developed by Giancarlo Bosio. These include the Otto and Summa poufs. The essentiality of the solid is enhanced by unexpected details that provide new and playful variations on the theme. In Summa, the cylinder has been broken down into vertical elements and then reassembled in a refined sum of colours and materials. The Otto pouf, on the other hand, plays on the surprise effect: the seat covered in leather or fabric suddenly reveals a 360° extractable tray in painted steel.
The enchanting atmospheres of the Parisian Store are completed by the seductive bas-relief effect of Sataria, the bamboo silk rug from the Atmosphere 2021 collection.

Style, functionality and Made in Italy animate the Paris Design Week.
