ART
The ability to dialogue with different realities and to open up to new suggestions from the art world represents one of the stylistic features of Giorgetti, which has always enhanced its spaces with works and installations. For a complete lifestyle experience.
The “Giorgetti walks with art” format started in 2022, enriching itself over time with new collaborations with art galleries in cities with Store and Atelier.
Born in 2013 from the winning intuition of brothers Augusto and Marco Brun, Brun Fine Art is an international gallery with offices in Milan, Florence and London, specializing in antique furniture, bronzes, paintings, oriental art and modern art.
The works of art coexist with elements of the Collection and Atmosphere décor objects in Giorgetti's “Places to Live” communication campaign and the GM Magazine, as well as in the spaces of Giorgetti Spiga - The Place.
Cortesi Gallery was founded in 2013 by the Cortesi family. Based in Lugano and Milan, the gallery is animated by a varied program of collaboration with specialists in the field, external curators, researchers, artists' archives and foundations.
The collaboration has started between 2019 and 2022 in Giorgetti's Atelier on Via Serbelloni in Milan, in the London Store, and Cortesi's gallery and art fair installations.
From Milan Design Week 2024, the entrance on the Via della Spiga space opens onto the cavedium with the site-specific artwork “Para mis adentros” by illustrator Fernando Cobelo.
“The word ‘adentro’ is used, particularly in Latin America, to describe something that touches you deeply, something extremely intimate in our soul. ‘Para mis adentros’ is a celebration of the person we are that nobody else sees, an ode to the secrets we jealously guard within ourselves as though they were a living garden that flourishes and grows unchecked” explains Fernando Cobelo.
Fernando Cobelo edited the illustrations of the 4th edition of the GM publishing project. He was preceded by Gianluca Folì in 2021, Paula Sanz Caballero in 2022, and Riccardo Guasco in 2023.
